. . . and a special birthday greeting:
Spacecraft Voyager 1 was launched 32 years ago tomorrow, on 5th September 1977. It was sent to study Jupiter and Saturn, which it did but it didn't end there and indeed it still hasn't - it's still going and is now the farthest human-made object from Earth. It's over 10 billion miles away, and at that distance radio waves take nearly 15 hours to reach Voyager 1 from Earth, so I thought that I'd say "Happy Birthday" to Voyager 1 tonight, so that it gets the message on its birthday tomorrow. This is for Voyager 1 . . .
